Exterior stone veneer siding in Florida costs $38–$65 per sq ft installed over CBS block or stucco, which puts a typical front-elevation accent of 200–400 sq ft at $13,000–$23,000 and a full front facade of 800–1,200 sq ft at $38,000–$63,000. Manufactured ledger panels sit at the low end; full-bed natural stone, coral stone and cut limestone at the top. This guide from J. Perry & Sons stone veneer installation gives the installed ranges we quote in Broward and Palm Beach and what moves a job within them.
| Stone veneer product | Installed per sq ft | 300 sq ft front accent | 1,000 sq ft facade |

Most South Florida stone jobs are accents: the garage wall, the entry tower, a band under the windows, or the columns. An accent of 200–400 sq ft changes the look of the house for $13,000–$23,000.
A wainscot (stone from grade to the window sill around the front) runs 150–300 sq ft on most homes and needs a sill cap along its whole length, which adds $30–$46 per linear foot.
A full facade is the biggest ticket and the one where the product choice matters most, since 1,000 sq ft at $22 and at $55 is a $33,000 difference. See the exterior stone veneer cladding guide for design options, and stone veneer vs stucco and paint for how the costs compare over time.
Rain and wind. Summer storms drive water sideways. Stone veneer is not a waterproofing layer; the scratch coat, flashing and drip edges are. We detail every top edge and window head so water sheds instead of sitting behind the stone.
Salt air. East of US-1, natural stone gets a penetrating sealer and manufactured stone a breathable sealer; fasteners for lath are stainless or hot-dipped.
Sprinklers. Irrigation hitting the bottom courses twice a day causes most of the efflorescence and staining we are asked to fix. Redirect heads before the stone goes on.
Sun and heat. Dark stone on a west wall gets hot and expands; a movement joint every 15–20 feet and at floor lines on two-story walls is standard.
Hurricanes. Adhered stone veneer over block, installed to the manufacturer's spec, is a bonded masonry finish. Loose caps and sills are the parts that need to be mortared and pinned.
HOA and permits. A change to the front elevation needs HOA approval in nearly every Broward and Palm Beach community; we prepare the drawing and sample for the owner's submittal. Veneer over an existing wall is a finish and does not typically require a permit; lath over framing, structural repairs or new columns can, and we pull it.
The house stays occupied; the work is outside and the only interior impact is noise.

How much does stone veneer siding cost per square foot in Florida? $27–$37 installed for manufactured stone, $38–$55 for natural thin veneer and cut stone panels, and $45–$65 for coral stone and full-bed natural stone, over block or stucco.
How much does it cost to put stone on the front of a house? A 200–400 sq ft accent is $13,000–$23,000; a full 1,000 sq ft front facade is $38,000–$63,000 depending on the stone.
