It is the commercial side of our stone slab installation work. Quartz countertop installation runs $95–$150 per sq ft supplied and installed.

Slab packages we install

Restroom vanity tops. Long multi-sink quartz or solid-surface-look tops on wall brackets or millwork, with undermount sinks, backsplash and side splash, set at ADA height where the plan calls for it. Restroom packages often pair with our commercial renovation crews for the tile and fixtures around them.

Reception desks. Quartz or stone transaction tops, mitered aprons and porcelain slab cladding on desk fronts, coordinated with the millwork shop so the steel and plywood substrate is ready for the stone.

Porcelain slab walls. 5x10 and larger panels at 6 mm and 12 mm on lobby feature walls, elevator lobbies, restroom wet walls and hotel showers. Thin, large and grout-light, they set on a flat, primed substrate with full-coverage mortar and need a crew that handles them on a rack, not by hand.

Hospitality and multifamily slab packages. Hotel bathroom vanities and shower walls, apartment kitchen tops and bathroom vanities repeated across dozens or hundreds of units. We price by unit type from the finish schedule and template floor by floor.

Break rooms and clinics. Quartz counters in break rooms, nurse stations and exam rooms, where stain and chemical resistance matter more than looks.

How we work with GCs and property managers

  • Insurance paperwork up front. A COI naming the owner, the hotel or management company and the GC, with the crew list for badge or key access.
  • 48-hour bids from shop drawings. We take off sq ft of top, LF of edge and backsplash, and each of cutouts, and price by unit type for repetitive floors.
  • Night and phased installs. In open hotels and occupied apartment buildings we template and install by floor or stack, and keep noise to the hours management sets.
  • Unit pricing. Per sq ft of slab, per each vanity or shower, per unit type. Added tops come in at the same rates.
  • Closeout. Slab and quartz product data, care and sealing sheets, remnant inventory if the owner wants spares, and a signed punch list.

How a commercial slab install runs

  1. Millwork and substrate check. Cabinets level and fastened, brackets and plywood in place, walls flat for slab cladding.
  2. Template. Digital or physical template after millwork is set, never from drawings alone.
  3. Fabrication. Cut, edge and sink cutouts at the shop, seams laid out away from sinks and high-stress corners.
  4. Delivery and staging. Slabs on A-frames, moved through the building by elevator or crane per the site logistics plan.
  5. Install. Tops set on silicone and epoxy, seams color-matched; wall slabs set with full-coverage mortar and leveling clips.
  6. Seal and protect. Natural stone sealed, quartz cleaned, everything covered until the GC's final clean.

Slab work in South Florida buildings: elevators, humidity and codes

Getting a 10 ft slab into a high-rise is often the hardest part of the job. Many South Florida condo and hotel towers have elevators too short for full slabs, so we plan seams, use the freight elevator or hoist, or move cladding to smaller panels before fabrication. Humidity matters too: wall substrates have to be dry and the building air-conditioned before porcelain slab is set, or the mortar cure suffers. Hotel and multifamily owners here also ask for ADA vanity heights and knee clearance in a share of rooms, which changes the bracket layout. Countertop replacement does not usually need a permit; slab walls in showers ride on the bathroom permit. See permits and compliance.
